The Koko FitClub: Personal Training Reinvented.

Imagine walking in to a small up-scale fitness center where the strength and cardio equipment is technology driven and actually tells you what to do for your workout. Well, that is what the Koko FitClub can offer each member. It all starts by loading one of Koko's 36 different 8-week strength programs onto a standard USB key. The idea is one machine, one person for a full-body circuit-based strength workout in less than 30 minutes. The machine - the Koko Smartrainer (see previous post dated May 8th) - will customize each exercise to the specific range of motion for that member. Members will be given a strength test to determine a 5-RM (5 repetition maximum) every 12 sessions and the weight is automatically adjusted for that person. The Smartrainer offers 100+ exercises that can be performed from an upper - mid - low pulley as well as seated and standing exercises. On the cardio side - the Koko FitClub offers 15 minute interval-based audio programs that can be performed on both elliptical and treadmill. The audio program consist of an MP3 player and trainer instructions that walk you through each cardio program.
