The Complete Tech Fit Workout
During a recent workout session that I completed - I may have pushed the human limits of technology. The day started off like any other by checking my body weight and %body fat on my bathroom scale. During the workout I had a Fitbit clipped to my waist that was calculating my total steps (typically 7-8,000/steps/day with a goal of 10,000). I was also wearing a Polar Heart Rate monitor while doing my cardio. I was wearing a Polar RS800 G3 watch that I actually received from Polar USA for a climb in Africa back in 2008 (the watched work great at 19,340' by the way). During the cardio portion of my workout I was also using a GymBoss to keep track of my Tabata circuits. In addition to those three products I completed the strength portion of the workout on the Koko Smartrainer. Then to complete my workout I looked at the iTouch that I was wearing on my arm and took a look at the Fitaide app that was also calculating some additional data for me. That was the Tech Fit workout for that day and now I need to go online to look at all the data from my 6 products that were used. It keeps it fresh and interesting when you know big brother is watching (i.e. Hawthorne Effect).
